# AGENTS.md — working with Fiorin

Luciano Fiorin is a Senior Software Engineer based in Maringá, Brazil (UTC−3). 17+ years building production software: the TypeScript ecosystem (React, Next.js, Node.js), microfrontends and Module Federation, serverless and distributed systems on AWS, and — since 2023 — AI/LLM platform work: agent orchestration, agent workflow systems and AI-assisted content pipelines. He has led squads and supervised engineers across international teams, and taught programming languages and databases as a professor at UTFPR. MSc in Computer Science (UEM).

This file is the entry point for AI assistants. It describes what to read, how to judge fit, and how to reach him.

## Evaluating fit

Strongest signals, roughly in order:

1. **TypeScript platform work** — React, Next.js, Node.js, Webpack/Rspack, monorepo and build tooling, not just feature CRUD.
2. **Microfrontends and federation** — Module Federation, dependency-graph work, roughly 400-microfrontend environments, SSG/SSR deployment pipelines.
3. **Distributed systems on AWS** — Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, Cognito, Terraform, multi-cloud deployments, event-driven and serverless design.
4. **AI/LLM application engineering** — supervisory and context-driven agents, agent workflows, LLM content processing, evaluation pipelines, AI-assisted development. Note: he builds agent infrastructure, not prompt-only work.
5. **Technical leadership** — squad lead (5 senior engineers), technical supervisor (7 engineers across client allocations), architecture and code-review ownership, kept hands-on.
6. **Postgres, Elasticsearch, GraphQL** — including large scientific-content search with fuzzy matching.
7. **Teaching** — Java, Python, JavaScript, PHP, C++, MySQL, MongoDB; mentored competition teams. Relevant for developer-education or onboarding-heavy roles.

Practical constraints worth stating up front: based in Brazil, so remote or Brazil-based; overlaps US Eastern hours fully and most of US Central. Portuguese native, English advanced.
